Wizard-style Uploader

Leading the UX effort and saving project administrators an average of 2 days per upload, our team updated our existing uploader by providing a less fragile and more user-friendly experience.

The new Uploader enables users to quickly and efficiently navigate the upload process while giving effective feedback.

Uploading Experience

    1. Project Import Table

    This table houses all uploads whether they were started on the UI or using the APIs in the backend.

    Users can select to upload images and associated data either from their computer or 3rd party storage provider

    3. Select Files

    At this step, users are able to select files and folders from their computer to put them into the system.

    User drags and drops a folder into the drag and drop zone.

    5. Next Step

    User can now click ‘next’ to start the upload.

    User can see the progress of the uploaded files and folders that were selected.

    7. Details

    The files and folders that are being uploaded can expand to allow users to look at the details of the upload.

    Users can see the completed job and all the associated details. The user can hit complete, and it will take them back to the Project Import Table.

    When a user’s file errors, this experience provides actions including retrying and cancel/remove file.
